On June 26, 2010 the APSS veterinarian recommended taking the dog to the veterinarian and having the veterinarian call for information.

On July 2, 2010 an APSS technician called the pet sitter to follow up the case. The pet sitter stated the dog died before she could take the dog to the veterinarian shortly after the APSS consultation. This product was not used according to label directions: do not use in areas accessible to children and pets.
