6/2/2010 Caller applied the product to three ant hills in the yard one week ago. After application, caller applied soil over the product and watered the area. Caller's cat began breathing heavily 3 to 4 days later. The next day, the cat began foaming at the mouth and convulsing. The cat died on the way to the veterinarian. The cat had no witnessed exposure to the product, and no necropsy was performed.

Secondly, the product use history lacks any description of a known or defined point of direct exposure to this product. Exposure is based on speculation. Even had casual or incidental contact with this diluted product occurred, such serious illness as reported in this cat is unexpected. Finally, a necropsy to determine cause of death was not performed by the DVM.
