On October 21, 2009 the owner noticed the dog was having difficulty breathing and was disoriented. The APSS veterinarian stated that methomyl is a very potent carbamate; ingestion can lead to rapid onset of SLUDDE (salivation, lacrimation, urination, defecation, dyspnea, emesis), tremors, and seizures. The APSS veterinarian recommended the owners take the pet to the veterinarian and have the veterinarian call for information.
