The APSS veterinarian stated that this product would not be expected to cause twitching. She recommended that the pet owner take the cat to the veterinarian to check for anemia and assess the twitching.

The APSS veterinarian stated that the substance was considered to have a doubtful likelihood of causing the clinical situation. On August 19, 2009 an APSS technician spoke to the pet owner who stated that the cat was seen by a veterinarian, and the veterinarian said the fasciculations were a result of the flea infestation. The cat was receiving treatment.
