Per the distributor, the owner stated that the cat had hypersalivated once when the product had been applied one year prior to this exposure. The APSS technician stated that serious problems would not be expected with this exposure. Signs should be mild and self limiting. She recommended that the pet owner bathe the cat with liquid dish soap, apply Vitamin E oil to the product application site, apply cold compresses to the application site, take the cat to a veterinarian and have the veterinarian call for information if signs persist, and call back with questions.
