The pet owner applied hydrocortisone cream to the dog. The APSS veterinarian recommended that the pet owner take the dog to the veterinarian, have the veterinarian call for information, discontinue product usage, and call back with questions.

On July 23, 2009 an APSS technician spoke to the pet owner. The pet owner stated she took the dog to the veterinarian on July 20, 2009. The veterinarian gave the dog an unknown injection, and the dog fully recovered that same day.
