The APSS veterinarian discussed dermal reactions with the owner and stated that signs typically resolve over the course of 1-2 days with symptomatic home care. The APSS veterinarian recommended that the owner give the pet a bath with mild liquid dish washing detergent, apply a cold compress, apply vitamin E to the application site, and call back with questions.
