Owner bathed the cat at home prior to taking the pet to the veterinarian. The vet indicated that the pet had an enormous flea burden and was severely anemic. Capstar was given and the animal was placed in an incubator on IV. The cat was so cold that the vet could not get blood. Symptomatic care only, was performed due to financial constraints.
