On July 21st, the pet was treated by a veterinarian and given fluids, methocarbamol, was wrapped in rice socks and put in an incubator. The cat was also bathed and the veterinarian stated the cat was heavily infested with fleas. The cat passed away that same day. A necropsy was performed and the results were: the cat was morbidly obese and gross and histologic examinations do not confirm a cause of death.
