Veterinarian applied advantage 18 to back of neck when examining the animal on Sept 21 2009. The examination was done in preparation for air travel. The owner noted the cat was foaming at the mouth upon return home. This may have been salivation due to oral exposure. The salivation resolved quickly.

Cat was examined Sept 21 2009 and advantage was applied. Some salivation was noted that same day but resolved and was thought to be due to oral exposure. The cat was let out of doors and found dead on the owner's doorstep the morning of Sept 24 2009. An autopsy was performed on Sept 25 that noted hemorrhage of the skull, brain and lungs and blunt force trauma was suspected as the cause of death.

The veterinarian examined the cat when it was presented dead on Sept 24 2009. A slug was found in the cat's oral cavity. The vet did not feel the death was advantage related but wished to have a post-mortem done to confirm this for the owners.
