Owner applied product to cat and cat was able to lick at application site. Cat began to drool because of oral exposure. The owner contact Bayer US and was advised that the drooling was in response to the bitter taste and to offer some water with a bit of milk, or to offer canned food. This would dilute the product and help get rid of the taste. The owner was instructed to contact Bayer if symptoms did not resolve or if any other concerns arose.
