(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
The cat had access to the bait in the barn for the last 2 days. The other cat there had been staggering too and already died. Was unable to get the time of signs and point of death for the other cat. The owner was advised that because the amount was unknown , the patient was considered to be at unknown risk of developing clinical signs. If signs develop, there is high risk that those signs will be life-threatening. The animal owner was also told that Ataxia could be noted as a clinical signs due to extreme blood loss. Cat needs to be seen ASAP be a DVM. Rule out other etiologies as well--including rabies in an unvaccinated cat.
