1-17945312: A reporter called on 03/28/2009 to report the possible exposure of a fish to an insecticide containing the active ingredient Permethrin. According to the reporter, a pest control operator applied the product to the lawn and the exterior perimeter of the home on 03/27/2009. A non-company product was applied in the attic spaces at the same time. The reporter stated that a gold fish was found dead when the reporter returned home following product application. The reporter was advised that people and pets should not be allowed on treated surfaces until the product has dried. The reporter was also advised that because the product was applied outside the home, it is unlikely the fish had any exposure to the product. A recommendation was made to contact the non-company product's health and safety department or the pest control agency for further information regarding that product. No further information was obtained.
