On October 20, 2008, the pet became lethargic, appeared to be paralyzed, and was vocalizing. The owner immediately took the pet to the veterinarian. While at the emergency clinic on October 20, the attending veterinarian gave the pet a bath and shot of glycopyrrolate (Robinol). The pet was sent home with instructions for the owner to give the pet a bath with liquid dish washing detergent five hours from the time of discharge and another shot of glycopyrrolate at 3:00 am on October 21.
