On June 26, 2008, Poison Control Centre advised owner the product has a very wide margin of safety and this is not an expected reaction. Recommended removing collar and bathing cat with dish soap. If symptoms persist or worsen seek immediate veterinarian evaluation. On July 7th, owner advised symptoms had cleared on June 27th. . The cat was not seen by a veterinarian. Owner advised cat died on June 29th.
