On each occassion, dog was also being treated with BNP for a corneal ulcer. Skin scrapings were negative, tape impressions showed keratinocytes, PMN's (neutrophils) , occassional rbc's (red blood cells) and epithelial cells. One the first occassion, cephalexin was prescribed at 500 mg every 12 hrs for 21 days. On the second occassion only benadryl was prescribed at 1.5 25 mg tablets every 12 hours as needed.
