1-16285901: The reporter notified the registrant via letter that his 11 year old female cat had passed away suddenly after the application of a topical flea and tick product containing the active ingredients Etofenprox and Methoprene. According to the reporter, the product had been applied on 3/11/08 to 4 cats. The 11 year old had immediately become very agitated and scared and had ended up hiding under the bed. The reporter stated that the next morning the cat had disappeared outside via the cat door. He searched for her and found her body in the front yard. No additional information is available. Note: As the reporter did not mention the other 3 cats it is presumed they were asymptomatic.
