1-16302718: The reporter called on 6/19/08 to report the application of a topical flea and tick product containing the active ingredient Tetrachlorvinphos to her 3 year old dog 4 days previously. According to the reporter, she had applied the collar to the pet on 6/15. The dog had been asymptomatic until 6/18, when it had laid down and refused to move. The dog had been taken to a veterinarian and had had several (2) seizures while under the veterinarian¿s care. The dog had passed away the night of 6/18. The company sponsored necropsy was discussed but the reporter declined.
