1-16085511: The reporter called on 4/30/08 to report she had applied a topical flea and tick product to her 10 year female cat the previous evening, and the cat had scratched at the area for about 5 hours afterwards. The product in question contained the active ingredient Methoprene. Per the reporter, the cat was now fine. The reporter was wondering if the product had been recalled. The safety profile of the product was discussed, as was the general feline sensitivity to anything getting on their hair/fur.
