On July 22, 2008, the kitten became depressed. The owner bathed the kitten and noticed she was more depressed after the bath. The owner then contacted her local veterinarian who advised her to administer diphenhydramine to the animal. Before the owner could give the kitten the diphenhydramine, the animal became paralyzed in the rear limbs, began to seizure, and died.
