Animal became itchy the day after application. The owner gave chlortrypilon. May 6 the owner reported the itchiness to the veterinarian. Vitamin E was applied. By this time the dog had scratched the area raw. May 9 the veterinarian prescibed bethamethsone cream. May 10 the veterinarian saw the dog to clean the wound caused by continued self trauma and prescribed vanectyl P. Clinical signs were resolved and the skin was improving by May 12. By June 25 new hair had regrown at the site of the lesion.
