1-16093711: The reporter called on 5/1/08 to report her 12 month old dog had died. The reporter was wondering if a rodenticide containing the active ingredient Diphacinone could have caused the dog's symptoms. The reporter stated that the only symptom was vomiting and denied any hematemesis, melena, etc. The reporter was not forthcoming with information so it was difficult to determine if or when there had been an exposure. When it was discussed with the reporter that vomiting by itself would not be consistent with rodenticide toxicity, she disconnected..
