Between February 20 and February 21, 2008, the animal ingested four vials of the product. On February 22, 2008, the APSS veterinarian stated that signs would be consistent with an oral exposure to the product. The APSS veterinarian advised the attending veterinarian to instruct the owner to bring the animal into the veterinary clinic for gastrointestinal protection and fluid therapy. The attending veterinary staff stated that the animal died on February 22, 2008, prior to receiving any treatment.
