On September 26, 2007, the animal was taken to its local veterinarian where fluids and diazepam were administered. On September 26, 2007 the APSS veterinarian stated the signs and time of the exposure are not compatible with this product. The APSS veterinarian recommended that the owner have the attending veterinarian call for information.

Product identification was unclear since package was thrown away. Signs were more consistent with product containing permethrin. Since the signs and time of exposure are not compatible with the product, the APSS veterinarian stated that it is doubtful that the exposure to the product caused the clinical situation.
