On July 8, 2007 at approximately 12:00 p.m. CDT, the owner applied the product to her 8 year old, neutered, male, domestic short hair cat. The product was applied dermally to prevent fleas, and the use was appropriate.

The owner reported that the patient was lethargic and showing excessive thirst on July 8, 2007. The owner also reported that it is very hot, so the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) staff stated that the patient may have decreased activity and increased thirst because of the heat. The cat's appetite had been normal.
