On May 17, 2007 at 12:00 p.m., CDT, the owner noticed that the dog had started scratching, was losing some of its fur, and had a rash on its belly. She took the dog to her regular veterinarian for treatment. The veterinarian gave the dog an injection of an unknown medication to control signs. The owner did not want help from our APSS staff; she instead, only wanted to report the incident.
