The owner decided to take the cat to the veterinarian on her own. The veterinarian stated that he had given the cat isoflurane to catheterize him, and had also given the cat methocarbamol and valium: to no effect. He had followed many of the the recommended patient cares that the APSS had given to him, but felt as though the cat had absorbed too much permethrin for bathing to improve the situation. The cat died on his own on July 25, 2007 at 11:00 PM CDT.
