On September 16, 2007 the animal became lethargic and began to vomit, have diarrhea, seize, and breath abnormally. On September 17, 2007 the APSS staff member stated that dermal irritation, lethargy, vomiting, and diarrhea may develop from an exposure to this product. Seizures are not expected from product usage, even in its undiluted form. The owner was advised to take the animal into the local veterinary clinic.

On September 19, 2007 the APSS staff member contacted the owner to obtain follow-up information. The owner stated that the animal died on September 18, 2007. The APSS staff member advised the owner to have a necropsy performed on the animal. The owner declined the necropsy.
