(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
History: Caller states her 5 month old lab dog ate some grass in an area that the product was sprayed. The product was sprayed a couple hours ago, and the dog ate the grass 5-10 min later. Almost immediately the dog started having watery diarrhea and foaming at the mouth. The dog is at the veterinarian right now getting IV fluids. Assessment - This product has a low level of toxicity and wide margin of safety - Ingestions of small quantities of this product are unlikely to result in significant problems but if enough is ingested minor GI upset including nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may result - I think it was a good idea to take your dog in to see the veterinarian because puppies can get dehydrated very quickly. - Case number given. - Please call back if any additional concerns or questions arise 09/05/2007 Follow-up Caller said that Brandy is doing great now. She said that he rushed dog to vet as she was foaming at the mouth and had diarrhea. Veterinarian got fax from us. He put her on special diet for 2 days. She is 100% better now and acting normal. Note: The relationship between the alleged contact and the effect in the incident description is indeterminable.
