Caller indicated he was using the aerosol at the time of exposure , may have inhaled some of the mist. No personal protective equipment was used. He claims that the amount of product that he was exposed to was not a lot, however he is experiencing chills, headache and sore joints. He has used this product many times in the past and has never reacted to this product before. The operator who fielded the called explained to the caller that this is a product we would expect to cause symptoms many hours later. A minor inhalation exposure like what the caller had experienced could cause respiratory irritation that usually develops immediately. It would not be expected that those symptoms are related to this exposure. Recommendation was for the caller to call family physician to be evaluated if symptoms persist.
