It is unknown how the exposure happened. The caller only stated that he had gotten some of the product in his eyes. Immediately he irrigated his eyes and claims that he is feeling better. The reason for his call is to find out if there is anything else that can be recommended as a treatment. The operator handling the call recommended to continue to Irrigate the eye(s) for 15 - 20 minutes under a gentle stream of tepid water. Do not hold eyelid(s) open, but slowly blink. - Rest eye(s) after irrigating. - No eye drops or ointments. - Cool compress to closed eyes as needed.
