préciser A review by FDACS did NOT assign these deaths to the fumigation. This is an allegation from a neighbor.
(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
WSVN-Miami had a news piece on June 16 and 17 regarding the alledged death of cats during fumigation performed in Miami, and indicated that the city was aware of it, but doing nothing about it. This alledged event took place on or about January 22, 2021. I reached out to FDACS representativeand was informed that they answered a consumer complaint, by a resident adjacent to the fumigated property. The animals were not found deceased after the fumigation, and in fact were discovered 11 days later away from the treated structure. The adjacent resident accused the fumigation company, however FDACS investigated but could not determine the cause of death, and no fines or charges were made against the fumigator. The fumigator reviewed the label directions with the building management prior to the fumigation and it was inspected for animals prior to the introduction. During the procedure, the crew did not see evidence of any animals, and has since then collaborated with the building management and the organization SobeCat.com, a group the consumer belongs to, in order to continue fumigation of additional structures in the complex with no adverse affects. The news report stated that there were other deaths, and used stock footage of representative tarped structures and fumigation vehicles, along with a blurred fumigation sign in their telecast as part of their video.
Mort
Douglas Products is reporting this because someone alleged the cats died due to a fumigation. The Florida authorities did NOT find evidence the cats died due to the fumigation. In fact the cats were found 11 days later and were not close to the application site.
