On September 11, 2015 the cat developed nasal discharge. On September 16, 2015 the cat started sneezing and had ocular discharge. On September 18, 2015 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated that with the spot on product and the flea tick and shampoo and that systemic signs are not expected. The APSS assistant recommended taking the cat to the veterinarian, having the veterinarian call for information, and calling back with questions.
