(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
Between August 1, 2015 and August 29, 2015 the owner noticed the dog developed a rash. On September 1, 2015 the rash ended. Between September 5, 2015 and September 9, 2015 the owner noticed the dog had a flea infestation, so the owner bathed the dog with liquid dish washing detergent (LDWD). On September 23, 2015 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS). The APSS veterinarian stated permethrins and pyrethroids can cause a tingling sensation to the skin, as well as redness, dermal irritation, and pruritus. The APSS veterinarian continued to note occasionally animals will develop sores or scabs, and alopecia secondary to scratching or biting the application site and some animals are more sensitive to the ingredients than others. The APSS veterinarian finally stated signs often resolve after bathing and with topical applications of vitamin E and cool compresses, but may take up to 24-72 hours. The APSS technician recommended flea treatment and consulting with the veterinarian (to discuss different flea products and treating the environment).

On July 1, 2015 the owner noticed the dog developed pruritus, so the owner contacted the attending veterinarian who thought maybe the dog had allergies, so a dose of diphenhydramine was suggested, which the owner gave the dog. On September 1, 2015 the dog was experiencing pruritus.
