1-42590690 - The reporter indicated that his fish in his irrigation pond may have been exposed to a fungicide containing the active ingredient azoxystrobin. The product was applied 8 days prior to initial contact with the registrant near the callers 12 foot deep, acre x1/4 acre irrigation pond to treat a fungus infection in the grass. The day after the product was applied it rained and it continued to rain for a period of 5 days. Total rainfall during that time period was 10 inches. Three days prior to initial contact the reporter noticed some dead catfish in his irrigation pond and one day prior to his call he noticed more dead catfish and some dead perch. The reporter has three other ponds on his 50 acre ranch and none of these ponds had any fish deaths. On follow-up call, one day later, the reporter indicated he had been flushing the pond from his well and using his fountain to aerate the pond and he had not seen any additional fish deaths since his initial call. No further information is available.
