On an unknown date in 2015 the dog died of unknown causes. No necropsy was performed. Due to the limited information for this event, it is unknown what, if any, role the product had in this event. The caller contacted Bayer Animal Health to inquire about using the remainder of the product on their new pet and not to report this event. No more information is expected and the case is closed.

Classification selon la gravité (s'il y a plus d'une catégorie possible, veuillez choisir la plus grave)
Mort
19. Donner des renseignements additionnels ici
Death is not expected in a dog after product application, as it is inconsistent with the pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Very low level of information (medical history, animal details, time to onset, treatment start-date, treatment end-date, reaction end-date are unknown and necropsy was not available), as the intent of the phone call to Bayer Animal Health was to inquire about using the remainder of the product on their new pet and not to report the death of the dog. Other etiologies are more probable e.g., the dog was a geriatric patient. No signs of allergy/anaphylactic reaction reported. Even though time to onset is unknown, occurrence of sign within window of allergic/anaphylactic reaction (within 1 day) is unlikely, as would have been reported in close proximity. Considering all aspects, a product connection is deemed to be unlikely.
