On approximately 15Jul2014 the canine died of an unknown cause. It was unknown if the canine was examined by a veterinarian prior to death or if a necropsy examination was performed.Limited information was provided by the reporting party in the initial email communication; attempts to obtain further details have been unsuccessful to date. The reason for the initial e-mail was to discuss the flea efficacy of the product and not to report the death of the patient. No further information is expected. This case is closed.

Classification selon la gravité (s'il y a plus d'une catégorie possible, veuillez choisir la plus grave)
Mort
19. Donner des renseignements additionnels ici
Death not expected in dog after product application, as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Reliability questionable due to very low level of information (age, medical history, necropsy not available). Other etiologies more probable. Moreover, the reason for the initial e-mail was to discuss the flea efficacy of the product and not to report the death of the patient. No signs of allergy/anaphylactic reaction reported. Considering all aspects, product connection deemed to be unlikely.
