(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
11/14/2012 9:55:46 PM The pet owner was calling to report the death of his pet after ingesting this product; however, the details of the case were difficult to obtain. The pet owner stated that his dog had ingested a large amount of greasy food" the night prior and began to display vomiting and agitation. Because of this, the dog was kept in the owners kitchen for the night so that any additional vomiting could be easily cleaned. When the pet owner awoke on 11/14/12 to find the dog lethargic and having difficulty breathing. He also noticed crumbs of bait on the kitchen floor which were remnants of bait blocks that his wife had crushed and spread around the kitchen. He was unable to estimate how many blocks the dog may have had access to but stated that his wife used the entire pail (he was unwilling to obtain the weight from the product pail). The dog was taken to a veterinarian in the morning and was treated with Vitamin K1 and penicillin (unspecified routes of administration) and then discharged home. Later in the day the dogs lethargy worsened considerably, he continued to have difficulty breathing and was unable to rise and walk. The owners, fearing he was cold, wrapped him in an electric blanket. Sometime after this point, the dog developed leg spasms which spread to his neck and mouth. Shortly after this the dog became listless, unresponsive and died. There were no reported diagnoses or laboratory tests from the veterinarian.
