(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
Owner's lawn was treated with the product a week ago. The dogs have been eating the grass and began vomiting on the same day that the product was applied. Owner did not realize that the lawn had been treated until a few days after the vomiting started. Owner took Minnie to the vet yesterday; owner says that they took radiographs which were normal. Owner has appointments for all three dogs at the local clinic on Monday. The caller was advised that GI upset can be seen with exposure to the wet product. Signs should be mild and self-limiting. When vomiting occurs, NPO for one hour. If no vomiting in that time frame, slowly reintroduce water by giving an ice cube or chip every 5-10 minutes for the next 30 minutes. If still no vomiting, the dog can have access to food and water. With this exposure there is no risk of organ damage. There is some risk of birth defects, but it is unlikely that Minnie ingested enough to cause them. It would be a good idea for the owner to take the dogs in to a local DVM to be evaluated
