7/19/2010 Caller is a veterinarian treating a dog that presented yesterday with vomiting and diarrhea. The owners applied the product in their home 4 days and their dog developed symptoms the following evening. The owners speculate the dog could have had access to the product but admit they never witnessed an exposure. The dog has a prior history of receiving long term oral steroids for allergies. Lab test reveal an elevated alkaline phosphatase. 7/26/2010 Follow-up with the veterinarian. She states that the dog made a full recovery and that the dog likely had pancreatitis caused by a dietary problem and unrelated to the Raid product. The dog was placed on intravenous fluids and gastroprotectants for treatment.

The information contained in this report is based on self-reported statements provided to the registrant during telephone Interview(s). These self-reported descriptions of an incident have not been independently verified to be factually correct or complete descriptions of the incident. For that reason, information contained in this report does not and can not form the basis for a determination of whether the reported clinical effects are causally related to exposure to the product identified in the telephone interviews. Exposure cannot be verified. Treating veterinarian has determined that the cause of the dog's illness was caused by a dietary problem and not the Raid pesticide.
