préciser possible ingestion of poisoned mouse
(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
The owner placed three blocks in an area near the dogs' enclosure yesterday. The dogs do not have access to the bait, but he is concerned that they may have ingested a mouse that had nibbled on the bait. There are small pieces of the blocks missing and one of the dogs had diarrhea overnight. Also, this am, they saw (from a distance) one of the dogs eating something that may have been a mouse. The owner was advised that because the amount was poorly consistent, the patient was considered to be at low risk of developing clinical signs. Difethialone is an anticoagulant. Coagulopathy may develop following significant exposures. Relay toxicosis is unlikely. If a live mouse were ingested and the mouse had just fed on the bait, there would need to be at least 1.5 T of bait in the stomach to reach a level of concern. It is unlikely that the mouse's stomach would hold this much bait. Ingestion of mice could cause GI upset

These self-reported descriptions of an incident have not been independently verified to be factually correct or complete descriptions of the incident.
