(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
1-20455311: A reporter (cattle owner) called on 10/19/2009 to report the exposure of 2 cows to fungicide-treated wheat seed containing the active ingredients Metalaxyl and Difenoconazole. According to the reporter, the cattle ingested the contents of a 50 pound bag of product 24 hours prior to the report. The cattle were off their feed at the time of the report. The reporter was advised that ingestion of a large amount of seed may put the cattle at risk for grain overload, but toxicity is not a concern given the minimal concentration of fungicide on the seed. A recommendation was made to contact a veterinarian regarding the signs described. On follow up, the reporter stated that a veterinarian was not consulted. The cattle resumed eating 24 hours after going off feed. One cow did calve early and the caller thought that it may have been from grain overload. The calf was fine per the reporter. No further information was obtained.
Modérée
