5/16/2008 Caller reports that the product was sprayed on a window one month ago. Two or three days after product was applied, the caller's cat was in the room and began to thrash around and seemed to pass out. The cat's symptoms resolved within a few minutes. The caller did not witness the cat having any exposure to the area treated with the product. The caller then washed the area on the window where the product had been applied, and developed redness on both hands afterwards. Caller then washed both hands, and the redness resolved immediately.
Mineure
The information contained in this report is based on self-reported statements provided to the registrant during telephone Interview(s). These self-reported descriptions of an incident have not been independently verified to be factually correct or complete descriptions of the incident. For that reason, information contained in this report does not and can not form the basis for a determination of whether the reported clinical effects are causally related to exposure to the product identified in the telephone interviews. There is nothing in the history provided by this user of the pesticide to indicate that the cat had any direct exposure to the pesticide or a surface treated with the pesticide. Secondly, even had incidental contact with a sprayed surface occurred, the concentration of pesticide in this product would not be associated with the type of symptoms reported in this cat, especially 2 to 3 days following pesticide application.
