On 26-Oct-2023, a clinic staff member contacted Elanco regarding a possible adverse reaction to Advantage II Large Dog (Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) in a dog. On 23-Oct-2023 the pet owner applied the product to the dog (misuse overdose).

On 25-Oct-2023, the 2.2 year old, 10.95 kg, neutered, male, crossbred Cocker Spaniel/ Poodle dog, was panting, crying (vocalizing), anorexic, and painful on his neck. On 26-Oct-2023 the dog was seen by the veterinarian who found the dog to have neck pain. A full blood panel was performed, and the results were all within normal limits. A SNAP 4DX was also performed and the result was negative. At the time of the report no treatments had been prescribed.
