On 06-Aug-2023, a 1 year old, approximately 25.4 kilogram, neutered, male, Standard Poodle dog, in unknown condition, with no known concomitant medical condition, was administered 1 tube of Parapet K9 Praventa 360 for Extra Large Dogs 25kg or More, 1 Tube (Imidacloprid, Permethrin, Pyriproxyfen) via the topical route by the animal owner. On 07-Aug-2023, the dog developed vomiting, lethargy, not eating, shivering (trembling), and was not himself (abnormal behaviour) The dog was bathed with an unspecified pet shampoo by the animal owner. The dog was not evaluated by a veterinarian, no veterinarian recommended treatments were performed, and the clinical signs continued. Bathing the dog using liquid dish soap for product removal was recommended along with monitoring for new or worsening signs at home. No further information was received.
