On 10-Jul-2023 a veterinary clinic staff member contacted Elanco regarding a possible adverse reaction to K9 advantix II Extra Large Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) and Advantage Multi 100 (Imidacloprid, Moxidectin) in a dog. On an unknown date, a dog was administered 1 tube of K9 advantix II Extra Large Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the owner. On an unknown date 2 days post K9 Advantix II application, the dog was also administered 1 tube of Advantage Multi 100 (Imidacloprid, Moxidectin) topically by the owner in 3 locations. On an unknown date approximately the next month, the dog was administered 1 tube of K9 advantix II Extra Large Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the owner. On an unknown date 2 days post K9 Advantix II application, the dog was also administered 1 tube of Advantage Multi 100 (Imidacloprid, Moxidectin) topically by the owner.

An unknown time after the first K9 Advantix II application, the 8 year old, 33.7 kg, neutered, female, German Shepherd Dog, in good condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, developed application site itching. The application site itching continued after the Advantage Multi application. The itching resolved after 3 days. An unknown time after the second K9 Advantix II application, the dog developed application site itching. The application site itching continued after the Advantage Multi application. The itching resolved after 3 days.
