On 10-Jun-2023, a 14 month old, approximately 2.3 kilogram, intact, male, Shih Tzu/Spitz - German Pomeranian crossbred dog, in unknown condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, was administered 1 tube of Hartz UltraGuard Pro Drops for Dogs 2.5 - 6 kg (Phenothrin (Sumithrin) / S Methoprene) via the topical route by the animal owner. This was an extra label use due to overdose. On 11-Jun-2023, the dog developed vomiting. The dog was not evaluated by a veterinarian, no treatments were performed, and the clinical sign continued. Bathing the dog with dish soap for product removal was recommended. If following bathing signs were not improving, then veterinary evaluation was recommended. No further information was received.
