On 26-Jul-2022, a pet owner contacted Elanco regarding an adverse event following the application of Advantage II Large Cat (Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen). On 03-Jul-2022 the pet owner applied the product to the cat. On 04-Jul-2022 the pet owner once again applied the product to the cat.(Misuse high frequency of administration)

On 05-Jul-2022, the 8 year old, 10kg, neutered, male, Domestic Longhair cat, in unknown condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, was jerky (abnormal behavior), twitching, hyperactive, and had generalized pruritus. On 26-Jul-2022 the cat had improved but was not recovered.
