On 03-Nov-2021, Elanco was contacted by an animal owner to report a possible adverse event and product defect with a Seresto Cat (Imidacloprid, Flumethrin) collar that was placed around the neck approximately 3-5 months ago.

On 3 Nov 2021 The Seresto collar did not release or break and the 1 year old, approximately 6-8 pound feline, of unknown sex, and breed, was found deceased hanging from the collar.
