Saw the pet burying treat 2 inches away from where the product was used. Owner used 50 g of product on a wall that is 3 yards in length. Product was applied last year. Unsure how much the pet ingested. The animal owner was advised that because the amount was poorly consistent, the patient was considered to be at low risk of developing clinical signs. If signs develop, there is low risk that those signs will be life-threatening. Risk is for mild, self limiting GI upset if ingested. Risk of sneezing if inhaled. The owner was advised to take animal to the vet to see if anything else could be the root cause. During a routine call a couple days later it was learnt that the animal was not taken to the vet and the symptoms were completed resolved.
